The night the stars left me breathlessWatch as time paints a scene
a tone of blue for a black
as the sky trades a day for a night
and I a prayer for a light
Stars rest along the horizon
countless infinite lights
cradled deep within the night
singing ancient hymns within the open mind
Sheets of winter snow fade under the street lamps
as the scent of spring blossoms along currents in the wind
and the drops of rain wash away the dirt, take away this pain
and leave nothing but amazing behind
Take a deep breath and listen to your heart
as the rhythm flows in and out
look up into the night sky and watch the stars as they oscillate off and on
and realize they really aren't that far from where you stand
(The night the stars left me breathless) is the night I understood that I didn't have a reason to live - I had too many to count.
FlightLight as a feather
   Gliding through the air
Swimming in the wind
In BlissCaught in your ocean
    riding waves lost in passion
        Two souls intertwine
DreamscapesCaught on a tight-rope between moon beams
somewhere hidden within a dream

A landscape of stars scatter at the touch of the brush
only to come together in a spiral that dances in a dizzying rush

Teetering neither to the right nor to the left
playing a game of balance tip-toeing just on the center line

Watching the metronome swing as two stars collide and intertwine
creating an explosion in iridescent hues and a fusion of harmonic tunes

As I catch a drift off a comet's tail and free-fall through the center
to wake up in bed and realize its all just a dream...

Silent SymphonyThe sweetest tone
    and the most subtle sound
A reflective melody
    in a consistent harmony
As time spins figure eight 
    on the tip of a silver-threaded needle
Sounds of R(e)volutionWhat a clever deception you played
     Taking hearts and dividing them into parts
     All for financial satisfaction and monetary gain

Did you think that you'd bribe your way through the gate?
     Or maybe that you'd buy a plane ticket and fly straight to heaven?

Well I have a message for you
     Heavens not something that can be bought
     put in a pretty little package and marked up at wholesale
     and the sound of those beating hearts, that's the chisel to your grave

Capitalistic, corporate scum
     The people are NOT toys to be bought and sold, The people ARE the world
     Our blood, sweat and tears are what make it
 
Blossoming (Spring)*Vividly*


Swollen with life given by the warm touch of spring
bursting in hues of yellows and blues
as they come into full bloom in view under a blue moon


*Serenely*
Swollen white clouds sail through sapphiric blue skies
in no particular direction and no hurry
as the heart tunes in to the melodic vibrations of springs hymn
*Pungent*


Rain gently falls from the clouds like petals from a rose
the fresh scent lingering on every blade of grass
as every breathe draws life within anew


*Renewed*



Old memories fade away into the past like falling leaves
creating space for new leaves to grow
catching alight a bright new memory in their place


*Rebirth*
Winters chill brought the conclusion
as your replenishing touch nourished it back
within the gentle embrace of an evening in the warmth of spring
Pearl MoonRain gently blowing
    white rose petals sweeping face
         Serenely glowing
Ballet of StarsA heavenly ballet sung on the far end of a Milky Way
       Mysterious lights that guide us through the night
               A flowing motion that has stemmed from the very beginning of time Eternal

When the universe was created the Stars were there
       In the dark of night they are the light
               Weaving dreams with a silken thread

Want to know the mysteries of the Stars
       Look for the light that shines behind your eyes
               and you realize that the mystery is You

This is why everyone is so interested in the Stars.
Hope was her nameAbove the chaos and below the stars
her heart pierces the clouds as her spirit rides the waves

and the moon sings in tune as she blooms

in the wake of night where her dreams take flight

ethereal, effervescent and full of life

no more blight in sight for winter wings

boundlessly soaring, endlessly flowing

catch a star and take it far
set her free and watch her soar

In the night it sings

Under the moon it blooms
The DiveAn intellectual passion

formed from a spiritual foundation

like a sea merging with an ocean

stars colliding converging into thought

as abstractions take flight to new found heights

in a blissful dive through the black and white

left dizzy waiting to catch a breath

of life on the edge

in the reflective waters

of eternity

reinvigorate

body

mind

and soul.
Emotional ParadoxThousands of tiny black drops splash against sapphire skies,

shedding a rain of tears that fall upward into the night,

an introversion of a life led upside down

A flash typhoon, a rhythmic storm, an echo in the rain,

my heart is an ocean of emotion,

sometimes a wave, other times a tsunami

Along ambiguous drafts in the air words take flight,

Sometimes like daggers aimed for the heart they leave their mark,

other times a whisper in the wind as gentle as waves drifting along the shore on a calm mid-summer night

But that isn't cold,

not until "frozen" is re-defined so that ice could freeze,

and flame stands perfectly still before its r
